Happy Birthdays and Bird Days

Yesterday was Mostyns birthday! He is now 10! We started the morning with Scott taking Mostyn to McDonalds for breakfast. Hawk was going to go too, but puked right before they left. Lovely! Then after breakfast, Mostyns stomach wasn't feeling so good, so both boys stayed home from school. By the afternoon, when Mostyn had opened the video game his dad had gotten him, both boys seemed to be feeling much better. Other gifts included accessories for his Wii, and of course, a Captain EO shirt from Disneyland. We finished up the day with root beer floats and brownies.
But, Mostyn wasn't the only one celebrating his birthday yesterday... Our little baby birds hatched. They are so cute, and yet so ugly at the same time!

Holy Moly, Mostyn's looking so grown-up!!! I can't believe it, LOL! :)

Poor Hawk... hope he & Mostyn are both completely recovered.

And how cool that the birds shared his bday with him, LOL - that's awesome! :)

Awesome!! Ya think the birdies will be around to celebrate next year with MO? lol That is so cool! Glad he had a rockin birthday! He's growin up!!

I didn't realize Mostyn and Blake (Melissa's son) were only about a month apart in age. All of our kids are growing so fast!

Yay for new baby birds too! One year we had baby birds in our hanging flower basket.

Happy Birthday Mostyn :) I guess it's always fun missing school on your bday! Too bad they were sick :( Have fun with your baby birds!
